Senior Electrical Engineer
On behalf of our client of a well-known Company, specialized in energy storage innovation, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Athens team.
Responsibilities:

Own the engineering and development of the company’s Energy Storage product, bringing our current Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to production. Deliver a fully functional product on time, and within budget.

Lead the company’s first Energy Storage product commissioning, coordination, and onsite installations.

Analyze end-user needs and investigate new product concepts within the framework of building automation and transform requirements into product features.

Coordinate cross-functional teams and external parties to solve complex technical issues and develop products that meet market requirements.

Guide the entire system integration process, validate the resulting implementations, and provide post-production support.

Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports concerning project specifications activities.

Contribute to sustaining a healthy team culture, built around Company’s core values.
Requirements

Diploma or MSc degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation or another Engineering discipline is required, with 3+ years of relevant working experience, preferably in the building sector.

Experience with electrical installations, KNX integration in buildings and ETS software.

Solid understanding of electrical schematics, datasheets for components, and wiring diagrams.

Knowledge of hardware subsystems communication and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with networking and communication protocols -TCP/IP, RS485, HTTP, etc.

Hands-on experience in wiring and testing electrical and electronic components.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and comfortable presenting to small or large groups.

Entrepreneurial mindset, driven by the desire to create something meaningful and passionate about making an impact.
PLUSES
-
Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and battery inverters.

Knowledge of power/analogue electronics, converter topologies, and embedded hardware components such as microcontrollers.

Knowledge of battery management systems (BMS) and CAN-bus networks.
