On behalf of our client, Cognitiv+ an international IT Services Provider, we are looking to recruit a passionate DevOps Engineer that will help the Company to support its customer needs worldwide and to improve the effectiveness of its Data science and Development team. The successful candidate will be based in Athens to join the local team and will be responsible for operating, monitoring, deploying, supporting and improving the infrastructure, systems and processes used to run our product solution both on cloud and on-client premise infrastructures.

Responsibilities

  • Deploying the platform to customers
  • Providing (technical) support regarding system related issues
  • Monitoring and updating the platform
  • Keep track of production systems
  • Updating/Improving our CI system
  • Work with the team to further expand the platform and automate processes

Stack

  • Nodejs services and Angular
  • Python AI and NLP services
  • Build on Circle CI
  • Running on Google cloud Kubernetes
  • RabbitMQ, used as a message broker
  • Persisting data to Mongo and Elasticsearch
  • Being monitored by Prometheus, Grafana and Loki for logs

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject.
  • Strong fundamental computer science skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Docker Knowledge
  • System Administration Skills
  • Scripting in bash
  • Knowledge and understanding of Web applications
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Would be considered a Plus:

  • Kubernetes experience
  • Cloud services Google cloud, AWS
  • CI/CD experiences with any of jenkins/circle ci/gitlab ci/ travis
  • Some experience with configuration management tools (Ansible)
  • Monitoring
  • Be able to understand some js and python code
  • Database Knowledge (Mongo)
