On behalf of our client, a leading Legal Firm in Greece, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Lawyer to join their team.

You will be advising on all legal matters related to the energy regulatory environment, the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy assets, from project acquisition, to drafting and negotiation of construction and operational agreements as well as financing and corporate matters.

Your responsibilities

• Independently drafting and review of various types of contracts (such as SPA, EPC, O&M, Financing)

• Leading contract negotiations

• Evaluation and assessment of regulatory and policy matters

• Analysis licensing and permitting matters during the development stage of renewable energy projects

• Steering of external legal counsels as well as acting as interface between external legal counsels and the business teams

Your qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in Greece

• A minimum of 4 years post-qualified experience in the energy and infrastructure sector

• Experienced in project development and construction together with basic knowledge of corporate and financing law

• Fluent in Greek and excellent English skills are pre-requisites

• Highly motivated personality with strong negotiation and communication skills

• Profound understanding of the commercial aspects of the energy and infrastructure sector as well as of complex structures
