Head of Environment and Sustainability
On behalf of our client, a well-known Sustainability and Investment Consultancy Company, we are looking for a Head to lead their Sustainability Dept. & Assessments.
Responsibilities
As the Head, your key duties will include
• Development of environmental impact assessment studies, Special Ecological Assessments and participation in wider environmental projects
• Coordination of a 5-member Engineering Team
• Conduct thorough analyses and calculations of customers’ carbon footprint, adhering to international frameworks such as the GHG Protocol. Your role will be instrumental in formulating and implementing de-carbonisation strategies, focusing on improving Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
• Guiding and advising our clients on ESG reporting processes, ensuring compliance and excellence in line with standards such as CSRD, GRI, ISSB, TNFD and SBTi, among others.
Requirements
• BA in engineering related to the subject
• Master’s degree in the field of environment, economics or data analysis is highly desirable, offering an added advantage.
• Robust professional background with 6-10 years of experience in the fields of sustainability and environment
• Excellent knowledge of English, both in written and oral form. Additional experience in international environments would be a significant advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint, ChatGPT indicating strong capabilities in data analysis and presentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing effective collaboration and relationship building.
• Strong pursuit of professional development and strong interest in following industry developments.
